Former Prince Andrew’s Birthday Arrest: His Solar Return

I wanted to talk about the arrest of Prince Andrew that occurred last month, because this was such a cataclysmic event—not only in the course of his life, but in the history of the British Royal Family.

No one in the British Royal Family had been arrested since 1649. It’s truly unprecedented—so let’s see what astrological energies he was dealing with on his birthday, the day of his arrest.

First off, Transit Chiron is conjunct his natal midheaven (MC). When Transit Chiron activates our planets and points, there can be deep-seated trauma, wounding, or unresolved issues we are currently being called to deal with regarding the planet or point in question.

The midheaven represents our public image, reputation, and our calling in the realm of public life. (which is why it’s often associated with career).

With transit Chiron conjunct his natal midheaven, there is currently a deep wounding around his public image and what he sees to be his calling as a royal. The goal here is to truly and deeply feel the pain—not to shy away from it, so you can come to terms with it and find deeper healing.

Andrew has been undergoing this transit for over a year now (I use 3 degree orb of influence for transit Chiron), and in this timeframe, more emails came out between Epstein and Andrew that raised further suspicion as to his level of involvement with Epstein.

Andrew was stripped of his royal title on October 17, 2025—also an incredibly rare occurrence in the history of the British Royal Family. The last time this occurred was in 1917, when two royals, both princes, were stripped due to siding with Germany in World War I.

When Prince Andrew was stripped of his royal title, transit Chiron was retrograding back over his natal midheaven, once again drawing close attention to his public image wounding. All of this led up to his arrest on February 19, 2026–his birthday, of all days. This is intriguing because this day holds astrological significance.

When transit sun conjuncts our natal sun, this is our birthday 🎉—although the day that transit sun conjuncts your natal sun exactly can be your birthday plus or minus a day.

In Prince Andrew’s case, transit sun was on his natal sun’s degree the day of his birthday this year. This holds astrological significance for him, because that makes these transits his solar return chart.

Sun conjunct sun is supposed to be a day of new beginnings for us, in the sense that the influences of the solar return chart affect the entire year to come.

This doesn’t mean that if you felt sad or angry today you will be sad or angry for the entire year. Rather, the planetary influences and energies at play on this day hold significance for your entire year to come.

That being said, the fact that Andrew got arrested on this day is very telling. This is likely to be a turbulent and perhaps crisis-oriented year for him, as a lot of planets in his solar return are concentrated in his natal 8th house, including the moon and north node, signaling a year of major transformation through crisis.

We get emotionally resilient through 8th house activations but, sometimes at a cost that can feel like our world is crumbling around us. His ego (the sun), ways of thinking and rationalizing (Mercury), finances and values (Venus) and emotional state (the Moon) are likely to be shook, perhaps to the core, considering the monumental fall from grace he’s been experiencing.

It’s worth noting that Uranus has been transiting his 10th house since 2017. As we discussed in my Timothée Chalamet article, this is a very long-term transit, and your career and public reputation are likely to be radically transformed by the time it’s through.

Now, this could be stimulating, exciting, and positive change—albeit with some discomfort through disruption. Or, if you have been using your career or calling in unethical ways, this can be a very disturbing and life-altering time that radically changes your public image.

With this transit, conflict with authority figures is likely—and we know Andrew privately fought the decision for him to step down from public life last year, regardless of him putting on a united front in his statement released in October of last year.

In conflict with authority during this transit, if you act too hastily and impulsively, the powers that be are likely to succeed in work against you.

And as Andrew’s midheaven is ruled by Aries, the most impulsive sign of the zodiac, I bet he indeed lashed out at the forces against him in the royal family.

Lastly, and I think most pertinent to his arrest, is Transit south node conjunct his natal Pluto in the 2nd house—it’s a loose conjunction that will get stronger as transit south node continues to make its way through the beginning degrees of Virgo.

Transit south node in a specific natal house or conjunct a natal planet speaks to the past being rehashed, lower vibrational behavior that needs to be addressed, or karma that’s being exacted related to the house or planet in question.

And Prince Andrew was arrested not necessarily for his alleged behavior regarding girls and women—but confidential trade or financial information he shared with Epstein.

Now, the second house rules over our own personal finances and how we generate income.

Pluto rules over the money and material goods we get by virtue of others—such as inheritances, lawsuits, property acquisition, and so on. Pluto also rules over crime, and secretive or underhanded deeds.

Prince Andrew was personally rich (2nd house) because of the money and power he received from others (Pluto)—namely, the money and material goods he received from his mother the Queen.

With transit south node here (past deeds, karma)— forming a conjunction with natal Pluto (illegal financial trade dealings)—he’s in for karmic retribution pertaining to these illegal financial dealings.

He’s already lost his lease on the $30 million Royal Lodge he was residing in, and he’s likely to lose a lot more money from this current case. This is a painful process for him—because Pluto in the 2nd house folks can be pretty possessive over their financial portfolio. And I don’t think anyone else, namely King Charles, will be willing to foot the bill for this one.

He is receiving karma for past deeds associated with finances, illegal dealings, and allegedly —sexual misconduct, as Pluto also rules over the more taboo elements of sex. With this natal position of Pluto and what is being speculated about him, I wouldn’t be surprised if he used his finances to pay for these…get togethers.
